Remember I mentioned that my building is being repiped? And that, for the next couple of weeks I won't have walls in my bathroom? My next door neighbour is also missing walls. The only thing preventing us from watching each other bathe and complete toilet duty is the framing wall between our suites. The absence of walls and insulation means there's no sound barrier. We're living in each others laps now. I figured out yesterday that they can probably hear me shaving my legs, so I turn the taps on before I use the toilet. Just now, at 11:55 PM - I heard the man and the woman shrieking in the shower. In Korean. I couldn't tell if they were fighting or making out but when it stopped I mentioned quietly from my side of the barrier that I could hear every word. Thank you.
